- Published multiple papers in top conferences and journals such as NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICLR, etc.; Honorable Mention Open source software Award 2017 at ACM Multimedia; Winner of VQA challenge (Abstract Scenes) at CVPR 2016; Third place in Object Detection (DET) with 'external' data, ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge 2015 (ILSVRC2015); Authored a textbook on 'image recognition' (in Japanese).
