Published 'Exploropleth: Exploratory Analysis of Data Binning Methods in Choropleth Maps' and received the Best Poster Award (CRIDC). Developed several research tools such as Exploropleth, NL4DV, SafetyLens, and more.
Research Experience
Currently an Assistant Professor in the CSE department at HKUST, leading the DataVisards lab. Research themes include Human-Centered AI, Agentic Enterprise, Debug-It-Yourself, Guidance, Analytic Provenance, NLP & Visualization, Cartography & GIS, Database Systems, Literature Reviews, and Automotive Engineering.

Received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where he was advised by Alex Endert.
Background
