- Published 'Exploropleth: Exploratory Analysis of Data Binning Methods in Choropleth Maps' and received the Best Poster Award (CRIDC). Developed several research tools such as Exploropleth, NL4DV, SafetyLens, and more.
Research Experience
- Currently an Assistant Professor in the CSE department at HKUST, leading the DataVisards lab. Research themes include Human-Centered AI, Agentic Enterprise, Debug-It-Yourself, Guidance, Analytic Provenance, NLP & Visualization, Cartography & GIS, Database Systems, Literature Reviews, and Automotive Engineering.

- Received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where he was advised by Alex Endert.
