Research Experience
Currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at the Gallogy College of Engineering, University of Oklahoma, and directs the DIV-Lab. Previously, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and CRA/CCC/NSF Computing Innovation Fellow at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, working with Dr. Danielle Albers Szafir.

Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2021, advised by Dr. Paul Rosen; M.S. in Computer Science from the University of South Florida; Bachelor in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
Background
Research interests lie at the intersection of Information Visualization, HCI, ML Models, and perception & cognition. The primary goal is to create a perceptual and human-centered framework to optimize visualization design, improving decision-making quality and confidence, while providing objective guidance for designers.
Miscellany
Spent the summer of 2024 as a BK21 Global Visiting Fellow at Seoul National University, South Korea; gave an invited research talk at the VIS Seminar at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI), University of Utah, in February 2024.
