- Collective Intelligence Under a Volatile Task Environment: a Behavioral Experiment Using Social Networks and Computer Simulations
- Insights about the common generative rule underlying an information foraging task can be facilitated via collective search
- Rational basis of social learning process underlying collective intelligence
- An experimental approach to collective decision-making
Research Experience
Conducts computer-based laboratory experiments as well as online experiments; analyzes participants' behavior using computational models such as reinforcement learning and Bayesian learning; simulates virtual societies consisting of artificial agents based on computational models of social decision making, exploring novel forms of collective intelligence in real societies.
Background
Research interests span from traditional social psychology to cognitive science, physiology, and information science (e.g., network science). Attempts to conduct experimental and empirical research on the conditions for the emergence of collective intelligence and its cognitive underpinnings in modern human society.
