Background
PhD in Telecommunications Engineering (July 2002). Since 2008, I have been working as a researcher at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Bioengineering (I3B) and since 2021, I'm its director. Since 2016, I'm the director of the research group CVBLab (Computer Vision and Behaviour laboratory, attached to the I3B). I have extensive experience in providing tools to boost digitization in different sectors such as industry or health, developing diagnostic aid systems based on artificial intelligence techniques for image and signal analysis.
