Prior to joining Wash U, he was a postdoc at UT Austin, working with Shuchi Chawla.
Education
Completed his PhD in the EconCS group at Harvard, where he was advised by Ariel Procaccia; previously part of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, in the Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO) program; did his undergraduate work at Williams College.
Background
Research interests include online and approximation algorithms, computational social choice, and using algorithms to both study and improve collective decision-making. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in Saint Louis.
