The title of her thesis was 'Markov chains under combinatorial constraints: analysis and synthesis'.
Research Experience
During her Ph.D. at the University of Manitoba, she focused on finite Markov chains, especially the influence of the directed graph underlying the chain. She then worked as a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mathematics at Iowa State University.
Education
Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba, supervised by Dr. Steve Kirkland; Postdoctoral Scholar at Iowa State University, working with Dr. Steve Butler.
Background
Research Interests: Combinatorial matrix theory, linear algebra, and their applications (particularly in network science); Expertise: Markov chains and random walks on graphs; Brief Introduction: Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics at Ontario Tech University.
