Prior to joining ECU, he worked as a Lecturer at Murdoch University (2018-2021) and as an ICT Lecturer at Central Queensland University (2018). He also worked as a Research Fellow at UWA for 2.5 years. Before his academic career, he had 7 years of experience in the aviation industry, serving as a Project Manager, Deputy Chief Engineer (Information Technology), and Deputy Director Quality Assurance.
