Academic Achievements

Awarded the only Research Excellence Award of NTU in STEM; Best Ph.D. Thesis in EEE 2025; National Scholarship (Top 2%); Tang Lixin Scholarship (Top 0.2%); SDSC Dissertation Research Fellowship 2022 (one of ten recipients in Singapore). Published multiple papers in top international conferences and journals such as NeurIPS, ICCV, TPAMI, etc.

Research Experience

Involved in multiple research projects during his Ph.D. studies, focusing on computational photography, generative models, compression, robustness and security, and 3D vision.

Education

Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in February 2025, supervised by Prof. Bihan Wen and Prof. Alex Kot; Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2020.

Background

Research interests include more effectively restoring the visual world using deep image priors (e.g., diffusion models, normalizing flows, GANs) or degradation priors (e.g., noise formulations in the raw space).
