M.Tech thesis titled 'Deep generative models to generate valid SMILES strings' (sequential representation of molecules) aimed at improving the percentage of valid SMILES sequences generated using existing deep learning methods by introducing a modified training strategy.
Research Experience
Developing methods to detect organized activity in online escort advertisement spaces at the Complex Data lab, McGill University; Intern at IBM Research AI Lab, Bangalore, working on an application of AI for Software Engineering, specifically Sequence to Sequence Neural Machine Translation models for method summarization.
Education
Ph.D. student at McGill University, School of Computer Science, Complex Data lab, under the supervision of Prof. Reihaneh Rabbany; M.Tech and B.Tech degrees in IT from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, India (IIIT-B), with a thesis on 'Deep generative models to generate valid SMILES strings' supervised by Prof. Dinesh Babu.
Background
Research Interests: Understanding and applying Machine Learning in applications that benefit society, specifically in the domain of interconnected data and learning from limited labels (weak supervision, active learning, noisy labels for graphs).
