Academic Achievements
- She has published more than 120 scientific publications, including 35 journal articles in IEEE TKDE, IEEE TITB, IEEE TSNM, IEEE Access, ACM TIST, Knowledge and Information Systems, Information Sciences, Expert System With Applications, Big Data Research, Computer Networks, Journal of Systems and Software, Energies, Electronics, Applied Sciences, and International Journal of Intelligent Systems. She has also served as a referee for many international journals.
Research Experience
- Since March 2018, she has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering of Politecnico di Torino, Italy. She has been involved in many European and Italian research projects addressing different research issues related to machine learning and data analytics. Additionally, she served as a proceeding chair for ACM CIKM 2018 and co-chair of the workshop track for ADBIS 2018, and organized several international workshops over the past few years.

- She obtained a Master's degree with honors in Computer Science from the Universidad De Las Américas Puebla, Mexico in 2003; a Master's degree with honors in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy in 2003; and a PhD degree from Politecnico di Torino, Italy in 2007.
