Research Experience
- Was a Visiting Scientist in the Computer Vision and Image Analysis lab at Cornell from 2001 to 2003; summer intern at Google in New York City in 2005; postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC San Diego before joining CityU.

- Received his Ph.D. from UC San Diego in 2008; B.Sc. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in 2000 and 2001, respectively.
