- Received ACM Taipei/Taiwan Chapter K. T. Li Young Researcher Award in 2014, MOST Excellent Young Scholar Grants in 2021, and NCTU/NYCU excellent teaching awards in 2020, 2021, and 2024. Served in multiple international conferences, including as General Co-Chair for ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS) in 2025, Fast Abstract Chair for IEEE/IFIP International Conference on Dependable Systems and Networks (DSN) in 2021, and more. Published numerous research papers on system security, multimedia networking, etc.
Research Experience
- Current positions include Director of The Center of Education and Research in Cybersecurity (TWISC @ NYCU) at NYCU (2023-2025), Director of Institute of Network Engineering at NYCU (2022-2025). Previously served as Secretary General of Chinese Cryptology and Information Security Association (2018-2021), and held various academic roles such as Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor at different universities.
