Academic Achievements
Collaborates on projects to advance treatments for lung and prostate cancer, as well as ocular melanoma. Teaches and mentors postdoctoral fellows, residents, and graduate students.
Research Experience
Currently based primarily at Winship Cancer Institute's Clifton campus, leading Eye Plaque Radiotherapy and HDR Prostate Brachytherapy services. Transitioned Eye Plaque Radiotherapy Treatment Planning in-house, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Oversees quality assurance for medical linear accelerators and provides support for various radiation therapy services. Research focuses on adaptive radiation therapy, including auto-segmentation and adaptive planning using deep learning.
Education
Earned a BS in Physics from Shandong University in 2009; PhD in Physics from Case Western Reserve University in 2014; completed Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency at the Cleveland Clinic in 2019, where he was Chief Resident.

Miscellany
Actively serves on Campus Life Committee and Honorary Degrees Committee within the Emory University Senate. Participates in various committees within national professional organizations, including the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), promoting leadership and mentorship.
