Research Experience
- Currently an Associate Professor at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was an Assistant Professor from August 2022 to April 2025. Before joining CAIR, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University, USA, and Dartmouth College, USA, working with Professor V.S. Subrahmanian.
Education
- Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, advised by Professor Bo An; Bachelor and Master degrees from Sun Yat-sen University, China.
Background
- Research interests include Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, computational game theory, multi-agent reinforcement learning, LLM for game theory, AI governance, AI for science, AI for drug discovery, and decision making in complex environments including security and healthcare.
