Academic Achievements
Members of the lab have received several awards including the IEICE Tokai Branch Student Research Encouragement Award, KDDI x Leafony Application Contest Encouragement Award, etc.; Prof. Yamazato was awarded as an excellent teacher.
Research Experience
Leads a team conducting research on image-sensor communication (ISC) within visible light communication systems; explores how system response can be enhanced via the addition of noise in stochastic resonance; develops methods to increase ISC data rates using afterimage effects from rotary LEDs; works on advancing OERs and their associated technologies.
Background
Focuses on image-sensor communication, application of stochastic resonance in communication, improving data rate through rotary LED transmitters, and development of open educational resources (OERs).
Miscellany
The laboratory welcomes new members, such as Dr. Shan LU from Gifu University; actively recruiting prospective research students.
