Published papers such as 'Size-Aware Dispatching to Fluid Queues' co-authored with Runhan Xie and Rhonda Righter, to appear in the IFIP Performance conference; another paper 'Towards the Optimal Dynamic Size-aware Dispatching' co-authored with Rhonda Righter, accepted for publication in Performance Evaluation. Served as TPC member for several conferences including ACM SIGMETRICS, IFIP PERFORMANCE 2025, ITC36. Master's student Áslaug Þóra Halldórsdóttir received the best poster award at the annual Masters day of the Engineering Research Institute.
Research Experience
Taught courses on Internet-of-Things (IoT) focusing on programming and IoT networking, Nonlinear Optimization, Performance Analysis of Computer Systems, Software Development A, and Formal Languages and Computability at the University of Iceland. Since 2023, involved in a new joint MS degree in Cyber Security with Reykjavik University, organizing a course on Network traffic measurements and analysis in collaboration with Aalto University.
