He has authored or co-authored over 15 scientific publications and up to 5 patents published in the U.S. patents office. Specific publications include:
- 2021: 'Learning to Classify Morals and Conventions: Artificial Intelligence in Terms of the Economics of Convention' at ICWSM;
- 2021: 'Comparing Equity and Effectiveness of Different Algorithms in an Application for the Room Rental Market' at AIES;
- 2020: 'Poisoning attacks on algorithmic fairness' at ECML/PKDD.
Research Experience
He has been an author or co-author on numerous research projects, publishing peer-reviewed articles. Additionally, he has taught courses on Bias and Discrimination in AI at EM Lyon and Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, and Ethics in Data Processing at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Education
After several years working in industrial R&D projects, he pursued a Master of Science in Foundations of Data Science from the University of Barcelona (UB). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Algorithmic Fairness under the supervision of Dr. Carlos Castillo and Prof. Dr. Caterina Calsamiglia at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF).
