Academic Achievements
Serving as a Board Member of the Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies (HKSTS), President of the Operational Research Society of Hong Kong (ORSHK), and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILTHK). Also serving as an external advisor for MTR Academy and Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) in Hong Kong.
Research Experience
Held academic and research positions at University College London in the U.K., and University of California Berkeley under the California PATH program in the U.S. before joining CityU.
Education
Received undergraduate education in Hong Kong and completed doctoral research on optimal control of dynamic transport networks in England, receiving a Gordon Newell Memorial Dissertation Prize in 2008.
Background
Research interests include the design and operations of intelligent transport and logistics systems, with applications of emerging information and computing technologies. Currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering (SYE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
