Published multiple papers and has been interviewed by various media outlets including AP, Indiana Public Broadcasting, Star City TV, WISH-TV, NPR, etc. His students have also won several awards such as the Perry Graduate Teaching Fellowship and ASHRAE Grant-in-Aid Award.
Research Experience
Before joining Purdue in 2022, he did a postdoc in electrical engineering at MIT. Currently, he is working on distributed energy resources at Purdue University.

Research Interests: Optimization and control strategies for distributed energy resources (heating and cooling equipment, energy storage, electric vehicles, solar photovoltaics, etc.) and their interactions with the power grid. His research aims to reduce human suffering caused by energy infrastructure.
