Received a B.S. degree in Computer Science & Technology from Tsinghua University in July 1999; Obtained a Ph.D. degree in Computer Software and Theory from Tsinghua University, China, in 2003 with the highest honor.
Background
Research interests include fast algorithms for electromagnetic field solvers (with techniques of FDM, BEM, RW, etc.), capacitance, resistance and impedance extraction of IC interconnects, modeling and extraction of substrate coupling in mixed-signal IC's, fast thermal simulation for 3-D ICs, circuit simulation and interconnect analysis, a broad range of numerical algorithms, stochastic algorithms and their parallelization.
