Academic Achievements
  • Leads the Systems, Software and Models Lab (SOM) at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3-UOC). Coordinates UOC’s task force on the application of AI in education.
Research Experience
  • Worked as a researcher at UPC in a project funded by Cadence Design Systems from 2000 to 2002; completed a 3-month research internship at Cadence Berkeley Labs (Berkeley, California) in 2011; continued research with a predoctoral FPU grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science from 2002 to 2005; joined Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2005; also collaborated as a part-time associate professor at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC-BarcelonaTech) in 2006 and at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) from 2006 to 2011.
