Currently a Research Staff Member at IBM Research, located in the MIT-IBM lab in Cambridge, MA, USA.
Education
Obtained a PhD in Physics from Boston University in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Eugene Stanley. Worked on a range of topics in physics, from black hole physics to 3D embedded physical networks (e.g., neurons in the brain).
Background
Research interests include machine learning for science and the theory of machine learning, with a focus on Graph Neural Networks (GNN), group equivariant neural networks, and symmetries and conservation laws in gradient-based learning.
