Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
  • Our research is funded by several agencies such as NSF-CMII, NSF-DMR, AFOSR, among others.
Research Experience
  • We use a variety of synthesis and processing techniques (e.g., vacuum arc melting, equal channel angular extrusion) and testing methods (mechanical testing, microstructural investigations).
Background
  • The main focus areas of our research group are processing-microstructure-mechanical property relationships in advanced metallic materials, especially ultrafine-grained materials, severe plastic deformation, and martensitic phase transformation.
Miscellany
  • We have extensive national and international collaborations with scientists from Argonne National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and many more.
