Received a best paper nomination for work on scratch-pad memory virtualization at the International Conference on Hardware/Software Codesign and System Synthesis (CODES+ISSS); won the best interactive presentation award for work on memory variability at the Design, Automation, and Test in Europe (DATE) conference; holds two USPTO-awarded patents related to caching technologies for storage controllers and real-time compression for the cloud, and has filed/published several other inventions in the fields of storage management software and multi-many core memory management.

Education
Completed and filed his dissertation in May 2012. Holds a Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science with a specialization in Embedded Systems from UC-Irvine, under the supervision of Professor Nikil D. Dutt.
