Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
- Published multiple papers on plant development, morphogenesis, and models of cellular and tissue development. For example: 'Robust branch patterning in moss shoots via symplasmic auxin diffusion' and 'Geometric and mechanical guidance: Role of stigmatic epidermis in early pollen tube pathfinding in arabidopsis'.
Research Experience
- Developed geometric models to represent plant architectures, algorithms for 3D plant architecture reconstruction, and combinatorial algorithms to compare or compress tree structures representing plant branching systems. Set up computer languages and computational platforms to study and model plant development and morphogenesis.
Education
- Trained as an engineer and did a PhD in speech recognition at Marcoussis’s Labs (Alcatel-Alstom Research Center). Conducted post-docs in mobile robotics and man-machine discourse modeling at Cap Gemini Innovation (Paris).
Background
- A senior researcher interested in the morphogenesis of biological forms, particularly plants. Develops mathematical and computational models to study the self-organizing properties of these morpho-dynamical systems.
Miscellany
- Frequently participates in outreach and mediation events in high schools, science festivals, weeks of mathematics, etc., believing that the results, methods, and beauty of science should be widely shared in society.
