Background
  • I am the Grace Wahba Professor of Data Science and the Keith and Jane Nosbusch Professor in Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research and teaching focus on artificial intelligence and signal processing. My current work investigates the foundations of deep learning, algorithms for data-efficient machine learning, and problems at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human cognition.
