Published multiple papers on topics such as multi-scale battery materials discovery, molecular representations, high ionic conductivity electrolyte formulations, and chemical foundation model-guided design. Holds several patents, including those for storage and retrieval of subsurface rock physical property prediction models, device lifetime-aware creation of customizable surrogate-based models, and more.
Research Experience
Worked as a postdoc at COPPE/UFRJ on graph theory and computer graphics. At the University of Calgary, collaborated with practitioners in the oil and gas industry to research and develop interactive visual computing software technologies and their application to geoscience and reservoir engineering problems.
Education
Master's and Ph.D. degrees awarded by IMPA (Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada). Postdoctoral research included work on graph theory and computer graphics at COPPE/UFRJ and four years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Interactive Reservoir Modeling, Visualization and Analytics research group at the University of Calgary.
Background
Holds a master's and Ph.D. in Mathematics with a specialization in Computer Graphics. Excited about all applications of computer graphics (CG) in other sciences, specifically geometric modeling and illustrative visualization. Also interested in CG applications and solutions involving machine learning.
