Academic Achievements
  • Co-authored a book on artificial intelligence titled 'Tout comprendre (ou presque) sur l’intelligence artificielle', published by CNRS editions. This book was presented at several events in 2025.
Research Experience
  • A CNRS researcher at the Computer Science Department of ENS (DI ENS), Université PSL. Also an Adjunct professor at Université PSL, where he, along with Clément Royer, Judith Rousseau, and Christian Robert, is in charge of the second year (M2) of the master program IASD. Additionally, a Chair holder and member of the Executive committee of the Pr[AI]rie-PSAI (Paris School of AI) project.
Background
  • Interests lie in various aspects of machine learning, statistics, and signal processing. Started in the domain of speech and audio processing in the 1990s; contributed to Bayesian methods, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, and some applications in natural language processing during the 2000s; most recent works since 2010 focus on online learning and multi-armed bandit models, with an additional interest in privacy issues.
