Academic Achievements
  • Worked with the National Flight Academy in Pensacola, Florida, developing flight simulator scenarios to help teach mathematics, physics, and history to at-risk middle and high school students. Collaborated with Design Interactive on CogGauge, a game-based cognitive battery system developed with NASA grant funding to test brain injuries in space.

  • Served as Program Director over Game Development at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, for 10 years, teaching game development courses before moving into administration. Worked as a teacher and contract game developer. Lived, worked, and studied in the Osaka region of Japan. Speaks fluent conversational Japanese.
