Published several papers, including 'It’s time for a complete theory of partial predictability in language' (2024), 'Semantics and Deep Learning' (2024), and 'Context-aware Visual Storytelling with Visual Prefix Tuning and Contrastive Learning' (2024). Also participated in multiple conference talks and presentations.
Research Experience
Currently an assistant professor of Computational Linguistics at Utrecht University, on détachement from a researcher position at CNRS (the National Center of Scientific Research). Involved in projects such as one funded by an Applied Data Science research grant from Utrecht University, working with Pablo Mosteiro.
Education
Received a PhD in Linguistics from the University of California Los Angeles; worked at the University of Trento in Marco Baroni's group.
Background
Research interests include evaluating and interpreting computational models for language, including language models and multimodal models. Previously worked on topics such as semantic compositionality, linguistic diversity, and language documentation.
