Published numerous papers and serves as an editor or reviewer for several journals such as Foundations of Computational Mathematics, SIAM Journal on Applied Algebra and Geometry (SIAGA), etc. Research is supported by the National Science Foundation through the CDS&E-MSS program.
Research Experience
Worked at Cleveland State University from 2005 to 2015; Since 2015, has been at the University of Florida. Involved in multiple research projects including an invited address and organizing a special session on TDA at the 2025 Southeastern Sectional Meeting of the American Mathematical Society.
Education
Ph.D. obtained at the University of Toronto in 2003; Postdoc at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland from 2003 to 2005.
Background
Research Interests: Topological Data Analysis (TDA), focusing on developing new tools for summarizing and visualizing large, complex, high-dimensional data. Combines ideas from topology, statistics, and machine learning.
