Worked with Akshara Rai at Meta (2024); worked with Chandra Bhagavatula at Allen Institute of AI (AI2) (2023); involved in mapping and localization for autonomous vehicles at Toyota Research Institute and Zenuity prior to starting the Ph.D.
Education
Ph.D. student in Robotics at Georgia Tech, advised by Professor Sonia Chernova; Master's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, under the guidance of Prof. Chad Jenkins.
Background
Research interests include developing service robots that seamlessly integrate into users' daily lives, functioning as effective and proactive assistants. This involves anticipating assistive opportunities and generalizing user preferences regarding mode of robot assistance and manner of task execution. The goal is to build a robot system that can autonomously predict when and how to perform various helpful assistive actions.
