Supervised several master's thesis students, including Stine Olsson, Jiarui Tan, Julian Valdez, Koray Amico, and Alexander Kiessling, whose work spanned topics from underwater SLAM to large-scale bathymetric informative path planning.
Research Experience
Works as a postdoc at the Division of Aerospace, Mobility and Naval Architecture and RPL, focusing on underwater SLAM using various sonars and cameras, while also developing autonomy modules for multiple AUVs and USVs like SAM, Hugin, BlueROV2, FloatSAM, and Lolo.
Education
PhD from the Division of Robotics, Perception and Learning (RPL) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, supervised by John Folkesson.
Background
Postdoctoral researcher with interests in Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), path planning, control, and system identification. Current research areas include seabed surveying, algae farm monitoring, and seaweed mapping.
Miscellany
Actively seeking motivated students interested in field robotics. Also involved in the development of several AUV projects.
