Academic Achievements
- Received a new $1.64 million grant from the National Science Foundation to develop novel meta-learning methods for accelerating design and discovery of new functional materials; Served as an editorial board member of Scientific Reports (a sister journal of Nature) and an Associate Editor of Journal of Computing and Information Science in Engineering; His student, Joseph Choi, received the Outstanding Poster Award at the USACM Thematic Conference on Uncertainty Quantification for Machine Learning Integrated Physics Modeling (UQ-MLIP).
