Joined the department at Texas A&M in 1987 where she is currently a professor. Served as Conference Chair for 5 premium conferences and on Technical Program Committees of 12 conferences. Has been the chair of 51 research advisory committees for PhD and Masters students.
Education
Received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Rice University, Houston in 1984 and 1987, respectively.
Background
Research interests include computer arithmetic, parallel computing, distributed processing, computer architectures and algorithms, computer networks, computational geometry, and VLSI algorithms. She has been invited as a Panelist and Keynote Speaker and was the winner of the Innovative Paper Award by CSCI.
