Academic Achievements
  • - Received a Veni award from the Dutch Science Foundation (NWO) in November 2010 to conduct research on 'Counting on a reliable water supply'.

  • Research Interests: Reliability and security of critical infrastructures (such as water, gas, and electricity networks); currently particularly interested in evaluating different charging/discharging strategies for local storage media in the context of smart homes, as well as network security of control networks (e.g., SCADA) especially for smart grids.
