- Published multiple papers in journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Multimedia and ACM Multimedia. Received Best Paper Award at ACM Multimedia 2016 and Third Place Award at the 2013 MSR-Bing Image Retrieval Challenge.

- Received a BE degree from the Communication Engineering Department of Jilin University in 2012; PhD in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System from the Multimedia Computing Group (MMC), National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, advised by Prof. Changsheng Xu and Associate Prof. Tianzhu Zhang.
