Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University (Sept. 2017 – present). Visiting Research Associate at Michigan State University (Aug. 2014 – Aug. 2017), Mentor: Prof. Andrew J. Christlieb
Education
Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Houston (2014), Advisor: Prof. Jing-Mei Qiu
Background
Research interests include dimension reduction methods with high order accuracy and structure preservation for high-dimensional problems, high order numerical methods for hyperbolic conservation laws and Hamilton-Jacobi equations, and high order semi-Lagrangian methods and their applications in kinetic simulations, computational fluid dynamics, and atmospheric modelings.
