Research Experience
Former ERCIM postdoctoral researcher (2009-2010), joint postdoctoral fellow at Microsoft Research Cambridge and Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge (2010-2012), and research fellow at Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance (2012-2013). Currently a professor in the Department of Information Systems at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Ph.D. in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State; M.S. in Communication from Cornell; B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
Background
Research interests include human-computer interaction (HCI), computer supported cooperative work (CSCW), and health informatics. Mainly studies situated communication and collaboration practices in healthcare, developing new mechanisms to support remote collaboration, education, and patient-provider interaction.
