2009–2012: Pre-doc researcher at the University of Patras, working on design and control of articulated mobile robots; participated in the 'Robotic Systems for Search and Rescue Missions' project funded by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation; collaborated with IridaLabs as an external researcher on the EDA-funded NICE project.
2016–2018: Postdoctoral Researcher (VISTA Scholar) at the Centre for Autonomous Marine Operations and Systems (CoE AMOS), Department of Engineering Cybernetics, NTNU.
2020: Awarded FRIPRO-Young Researcher Talent grant from the Research Council of Norway for research on unmanned underwater vehicles in dynamic environments.
2023–2024: Research visits at MIT Sea Grant and ETH Zurich’s Autonomous Systems Lab (ASL).
Led and co-organized the first international workshop on automation and robotics in aquaculture at IEEE IROS 2024 with MIT and NTNU, establishing a new interdisciplinary research domain at the intersection of biology and robotics.
