Academic Achievements
  • Won the Best Paper Award at the Learning for Dynamics and Control Conference (L4DC) in 2022; selected as a Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) Pioneer in 2020; doctoral thesis won the School's Outstanding Thesis Award.
Research Experience
  • Currently a postdoctoral fellow at the College of Connected Computing, Vanderbilt University; previously a postdoc at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. Conducted robotics research at NVIDIA's Seattle Robotics Lab during his PhD. Performed machine learning research at CSIRO during his undergraduate studies.

  • PhD: School of Computer Science, University of Sydney, supervised by Fabio Ramos and closely worked with Lionel Ott (now at ETH Zurich); BEng: University of Auckland (First Class Honours).
