Recipient of Best Paper Awards or Nominations at top-tier conferences such as SoCC, HPCA, HPDC, Cluster, ICPP, GPC, UIC, AIMS, and IEEE Edge. Holds over 200 patents or PCT patents. Co-founded 'Shenzhen Baidou Applied Technology' specializing in location-based services and technologies. Received multiple awards including the 2014 China Electronics Society Science and Technology Progress Award, 2019 Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Science and Technology Progress Award, 2022 Guangdong Provincial Technology Invention Second Prize, 2022 Shenzhen Municipal Technology Invention Second Prize, and 2024 Macao SAR Government Technology Invention Second Prize.

- Previously a professor at Wayne State University and the Director of the Institute of Advanced Computing at Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technologies, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Currently leading key projects on smart city, autonomous driving, and cloud data centers.

- BSc (1986) and MSc (1989) from Nanjing University, PhD (1993) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.
