Academic Achievements
- Published over 40 papers in premier venues and holds more than 90 issued patents. Recipient of the Best Paper Award at ACM CSCW 2014. His systems have won multiple Best Demo Awards at ACM MobiSys 2019 and 2012. Served on the program committees and/or editorial boards of several leading academic conferences and journals.
Research Experience
- Currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at POSTECH, with an adjunct appointment in the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence, POSTECH. Leads the Human-centered Intelligent Systems Lab (HIS Lab).
Background
- Research interests include Mobile Computing, Human-Computer Interaction, and Applied AI. Focused on intelligent and interactive mobile/IoT computing systems and exploring their unknown potentials to foster new human-centered applications.
