Academic Achievements
  • A paper titled 'Enhancing Graph Edit Distance Computation: Stronger and Orientation-based ILP Formulations' was accepted by VLDB 2025 (A* ranked); successfully proposed a Dagstuhl Seminar on Temporal Graphs: Structure, Algorithms, Applications.
Research Experience
  • Played key roles in multiple projects such as the CRC project NuMeriQS focusing on new graph learning approaches for trajectories (molecular 3D structures) arising in AIMD simulations; involved in the publication of a paper on enhancing graph edit distance computation.
Background
  • Research interests include algorithmic data analysis, graph mining, computational analytics, algorithm engineering, graph algorithms and data structures, combinatorial optimization (polynomial time and ILP-based), high performance computing (HPC), heterogeneous HPC system architectures, modular supercomputing architecture (MSA), hardware prototyping and evaluation, software environment development, co-design and application optimisation. Application areas cover cheminformatics, geodesy, logistics, network analysis, information visualization, network design and optimization, computational biology, statistical physics, etc.
Miscellany
  • Welcomed three new members and one long-term guest to the team; planning to host workshops on various aspects of parallel programming using OpenMP.
