Academic Achievements
A paper titled 'Enhancing Graph Edit Distance Computation: Stronger and Orientation-based ILP Formulations' was accepted by VLDB 2025 (A* ranked); successfully proposed a Dagstuhl Seminar on Temporal Graphs: Structure, Algorithms, Applications.
Research Experience
Played key roles in multiple projects such as the CRC project NuMeriQS focusing on new graph learning approaches for trajectories (molecular 3D structures) arising in AIMD simulations; involved in the publication of a paper on enhancing graph edit distance computation.
Background
Research interests include algorithmic data analysis, graph mining, computational analytics, algorithm engineering, graph algorithms and data structures, combinatorial optimization (polynomial time and ILP-based), high performance computing (HPC), heterogeneous HPC system architectures, modular supercomputing architecture (MSA), hardware prototyping and evaluation, software environment development, co-design and application optimisation. Application areas cover cheminformatics, geodesy, logistics, network analysis, information visualization, network design and optimization, computational biology, statistical physics, etc.
Miscellany
Welcomed three new members and one long-term guest to the team; planning to host workshops on various aspects of parallel programming using OpenMP.
