Academic Achievements
  • Author of several books such as 'Artificial Neural Networks for Modelling and Control of Non-linear Systems' and 'Least Squares Support Vector Machines'; received numerous awards including the 1999 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award, 2019 Entropy Best Paper Award, and the 2024 IEEE Neural Networks Pioneer Award; led several major projects funded by the European Research Council.
