- IEEE Senior Member; served as an Associate Editor for several international journals; organized and participated in multiple international conferences; extensive teaching experience, including courses at the University of Bologna, Technical University of Munich, and Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
Research Experience
- Since 2003, researching channel codes for high data rate CCSDS missions; 2004-2005, researching at the University of Arizona, designing low-complexity error correcting codes for space communications; since 2006, with the Institute of Communications and Navigation at DLR, currently leading the Information Transmission group.
