- Published multiple papers such as 'Beyond the Surface: Enhancing LLM-as-a-Judge Alignment with Human via Internal Representations' and 'G2: Guided Generation for Enhanced Output Diversity in LLMs'. Awarded as Microsoft Research Asia StarTrack Scholar in 2025.
Research Experience
- Served as a research intern at Microsoft Research Asia and Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab. Currently, a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).
Education
- Received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Tsinghua University in 2012 and 2014, respectively; obtained Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong in 2022, supervised by Prof. Jia Pan and Prof. Wenping Wang.
Background
- Research interests include natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs), especially in LLM data synthesis, multimodal LLMs, and reasoning LLMs. Currently an area chair for ACL, EMNLP, and CCL, and a reviewer for top AI conferences and journals like ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.
