Research Experience
Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics at Ca' Foscari University of Venice; a postdoc at the Institute of Applied Analysis and Numerical Simulation at the University of Stuttgart, Germany; a researcher at the Digital Society Center of FBK in Trento, Italy; and an Associated Member in the Cluster of Excellence Data-integrated Simulation Science, where he is a member of the project network Machine Learning for Simulation.
Education
He obtained his MSc and PhD from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Padova under the supervision of Stefano De Marchi, focusing on algorithmic and theoretical aspects of kernel-based interpolation.
Background
Research interests include machine learning and applied mathematics, particularly in solving problems in simulation sciences. He is an assistant professor (RTDb) at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, and a member of the Applied Mathematics lab and the Data-Centric Environmental Studies Center (DESC).
