Published three books: 'Finite Geometry and Combinatorial Applications' (July 2015, Cambridge University Press), 'A Course in Algebraic Error-Correcting Codes' (May 2020, Birkhauser), and 'A Course in Combinatorics and Graphs' (April 2024, Birkhauser, co-authored with Oriol Serra). Published papers in various journals and presented at multiple international conferences. On the editorial board of 'Journal of Geometry' and 'Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A'.
Research Experience
Currently supervising doctoral students Ricard Vilar, Tabriz Popatia, and Robin Simoens (co-directing with Leo Storme).
Background
Research interests include classical and quantum error-correcting codes, real and finite geometries, semifields, and graphs. Generally, applying geometrical and linear algebra methods to these combinatorial objects.
Miscellany
Agrees with the view in Lockhart's Lament that the mathematics curriculum needs to be scrapped rather than reformed.
